"Hydrangeas by the Sea was inspired by summers on Cape Cod, where overflowing blue hydrangeas, fresh lemons, and glimpses of the ocean become part of everyday life. I wanted the painting to feel bright, collected, and nostalgic—a window into an endless summer."
